One of the most attractive places in Mazandaran is Kelardasht with 113 KM2 area, located in 25 km Chaloos. It is a major tourism zone due to natural scenes, mountain, forest, weald, lake, river, waterfall, moderate climate and very hospitable and friendly people.
 

 

 

 
Takhte Soleiman mountains with millions of year-old refrigerators with Alamkooh 4850-meter peak, Valasht lake, Roodbarak river, Akabol beautiful waterfall, Gorgis jungle,road, malek Joob, Talaw hot water, Kelardasht-Abbas Abad jungle road are the most beautiful natural appeals of the area. Because of the importance of this region, great construction projects are under construction for facilities of access and welfare of domestic and foreign tourists, among which one can mention Tehran-Shomal freeway, and kelardasht-Namak Abrood cable car.

Kelardasht will be changed to a county in near future.
